About Krystal

Krystal Gauley has spent her life answering the quiet call of the heart—journeying across the world, studying deeply, and learning from every soul, place, and season she has encountered. Her path is a living tapestry, woven from the threads of the natural world, healing arts, cultural traditions, and spiritual practice—each strand informing the next, each experience deepening her connection to Spirit.

Her formal studies began at Pikes Peak Community College, where she earned an AS in Natural Resources while training at the Wildland Firefighting Academy. She worked on projects such as the Red Rock Canyon Ecosystem Management Plan in Colorado Springs and learned the language of the land firsthand through roles as a park ranger, trails crew member, and wildland firefighter. Yet even while immersed in environmental work, she felt the pull toward the healing arts. This led her to the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy, where she became certified in neuromuscular therapy, injury rehabilitation, and deep tissue work—a practice she would later return to as an instructor, guiding students in theory, technique, and professional application.

In 2010, her studies expanded at Fort Lewis College, where she earned a BA in Psychology and began walking the path of the archetypal wounded healer. Confronting her shadows, seeking her higher self, and supported by transformative mentors, she experienced the reawakening of clairvoyant and clairsentient gifts she had known in childhood. Around this same time, she participated in sweat lodges and ceremonies with the Southern Utes of Durango, CO, and walked alongside a dear friend from the Blackfeet Tribe—relationships and experiences that strengthened her sense of belonging within a greater spiritual community.

By 2013, her path led into a year of accelerated spiritual growth. She completed an eight-month intensive with Sangoma Gretchen McKay, followed by a two-week shamanic immersion with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Continued work with teachers such as Tom Cowan, Julie Kramer, and Betsy Bergstrom pushed her to dismantle outdated societal patterns, undergo the profound initiation of egoic death, and commit herself wholly to service within the collective.

From 2015 to 2021, Krystal’s ancestors called her more deeply into her lineage. She entered a seven-year journey with the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids in the UK. The Bardic training attuned her to the turning of the seasons, deepened her meditation practice, and drew her into intimate communion with nature while she lived in quiet solitude in remote Southeast Alaska. The Ovate work expanded her understanding of plants and herbalism, blending naturally with her shamanic practices, and the Druid training taught her to shape ancient wisdom into teachings and tools for others.

It was within that time that Krystal also visited hundreds of sacred sites throughout the UK and Ireland—the homeland of her ancestors—spending months at each location. Immersed in these storied landscapes, she became familiar with the energetic Earth grids and the spiritual significance of place—energies designed to open, align, and awaken the Spirit. This attunement to, and dance with, the Spirit of place inspired her to create sacred travel experiences for others, guiding them into their own encounters with the sacred. She already carries experience in this work, having led a transformative pilgrimage to Mt. Everest Base Camp. This journey became both an outer and inner quest for her group, blending the physical demands of the climb with a deep exploration of the self—fostering healing, insight, and life-long bonds among the participants.

In the near future, Krystal will offer a collection of sacred travel opportunities and workshops, leading others to sites of deep spiritual resonance while sharing her wisdom and guidance.

In the meantime, she is completing her MA in English and Creative Writing, set to graduate in the spring of 2026. Her vision is to teach, write books, and create poetry that inspires, educates, heals, and guides others along their own paths of awakening. She is also immersed in a three-year astrology program with Evolutionary Astrologer Kaypacha, deepening her understanding of the stars and their influence. In time, she plans to offer astrology readings—either as a stand-alone service or woven into her Shamanic work—bringing another layer of insight and guidance to those she serves.

For Krystal, the spiritual path is not a single awakening but an ever-turning cycle—again and again rising from the ashes, each rebirth carrying a clearer truth, a deeper connection to Spirit, and a greater capacity to serve. She continues to walk this path with humility and devotion, inviting others to discover their own sacred journey and to step into the wholeness that has always been theirs.

Shamanic healing is rooted in ancient wisdom and the understanding that true healing happens in collaboration between the seen and unseen worlds. It is a sacred practice of working with our Creator, Ancestors, Helping Spirits, and Higher Selves — those who walk beside us beyond the veil — to support deep healing, soul remembrance, and alignment with your true purpose.

As a Shamanic Practitioner, I serve as a bridge between everyday reality and the spiritual realms, guided by both traditional practices and my natural clairvoyant abilities. With intuitive sight and connection to the unseen, I receive insight and guidance to uncover the roots of imbalance or disconnection and to help restore the soul’s essence and personal power.

One of the main ways I facilitate this work is through shamanic journeying — a practice where I enter a meditative, trance-like state through drumming and intention to connect with the spirit world on your behalf. During these journeys, I may be guided to use methods such as divination, soul retrieval, energetic clearing, or compassionate depossession, weaving them together with my intuitive gifts to support your healing. These practices are designed to restore balance, vitality, and wholeness — calling back lost parts of the self and opening the way for deeper alignment and clarity in your life.

  • Remote sessions are offered via Zoom, allowing you to receive shamanic healing from the comfort of your own space. Before your session, you’ll complete intake paperwork, which I review beforehand. I will perform a 30-minute journey on your behalf prior to our meeting, connecting with Spirit to gain insight and guidance. During the Zoom session, we’ll start with a conversation where I share what Spirit revealed during the journey, followed by any healing work you need. You can simply relax and be present while the session unfolds.

  • Shamanic healing works with energy and Spirit, which are not limited by physical distance. Just as you can feel love, prayer, or intention from someone far away, healing energy can also be shared beyond the physical space. During a remote session, I connect with you energetically through intention and spiritual practice, while you relax in your own space. The experience is just as real and effective as being in person — many clients are surprised at how powerful it feels.
